How to print calculator tape in adobe

Do you see the other tabs Format, Validate, Options, etc? Can you post a screenshot? I'm only seeing very few tab options. I saw something similar to that on another forum and it was suggested that this could be caused when using EchoSign on the file. Did you do something like that? I did see something aobut EchoSign and don't know what that is? I did take the PDF I'm working with and make sure and save it as compatable with Acrobat 10 and later because I think it was doing something with Acrobat 7 or something.

I thought maybe bringing the file up to 10 or later would solve it? But nothing. Good question. Cross References will appear as the workpaper page number in the Calculator Tape Panel. They will appear as the Tape number e. T1 on the workpaper. These numbers are dynamic and update automatically if page or Tape numbers change. Cross References are clickable links that tie two items together. Clicking a Cross Reference in the Calculator Tape Panel will highlight the corresponding amount on the workpaper, and vice versa.

The Grand Total in any Calculator Tape can be pasted on the corresponding workpaper in the form of a dynamic, cross-referenced stamp. Grand Total Stamps are also useful in cases when pasting the entire Calculator Tape might be redundant or unnecessary. It can probably be achieved using form fields and some scripting, but you will need to be more specific about what it is you want to achieve.

I am trying to have a calculator which I can use to create a "virtual" tape showing all the mathematical calculations which I can then copy and paste into my Adobe document.

I am a CPA and would like to "markup" certain documents with these tapes. This might be possible, but only with a custom-made script. You can contact me personally if you're interested in such a script. Registered: Mar 27 You can also use your keyboard to enter numbers and operators into the calculator. Enter the next number in the calculation. Enter any remaining operators and numbers.

Notes The calculator can be open at the same time as you are performing other tasks in the application. The calculator cannot be launched directly from the PDF editor, but must be launched from the toolbar or from the right-click context menu in the Engagement Binders portlet.

Notes The tape displays by default in TenKey mode, but you cannot print the tape. Use the TenKey mode to copy contents from the tape to the clipboard. The tape cannot be copied in standard mode. To copy the contents of the tape to the clipboard, right click on the word calculator in the dialog and choose Copy tape to clipboard. You can paste the tape into a PDF, Microsoft Word document, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or any other type of workpaper opened from within the engagement binder.
