I get the following message so am going to wait for a while as it sounds like it might be a problem with the Microsoft Update.
Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: 0x Thanks anyway. By the way the update I couldn't install today is KB 4. I was able to install KB I did try installing the update manually from the catalog but that didn't work either.
I also disabled my virus protection and firewall when trying to install and that didn't work. I ran the update troubleshooter and no issues were found. It seems funny that I could install another update today but not the second one. I also checked for enough space on my laptop and there is plenty. After running the troubleshooter I sent feedback to Microsoft.
Thanks for all your suggestions, and I will get another family member to help me and will let him see your suggestions. He is quite computer knowledgeable. He has degrees in computer engineering. The update that failed to install is: KB It's not my computer as another update did install successfully today KB Anybody else having this problem or any ideas what to do?
